Day Training
One of the most efficient ways to help your dog become their best self is through a day training program. Day training lets your dog keep living with you while they practice new skills exactly where you need them most. I come to you and train your dog, providing skills-transfer sessions as we go so you can begin using those new skills early in the process.
Because your dog stays home, we avoid the stress that comes with boarding them in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people. Unlike a board-and-train — where a dog learns in an environment they'll never actually live in — day training builds skills in the real-world settings that matter to your daily life, and the skills come home with you because I teach them to you directly.
Day training is a great option for new puppy skills, adolescent and adult dogs who need help with household or public manners, or dogs working through more involved behavior issues such as stranger-danger, dog-directed reactivity, barking and lunging at cars, resource guarding, and more. If you're wondering whether day training is right for your dog's current needs, complete the intake form and mention you're interested in day training. I'll help you decide which service is the best fit.

Which program is right for you depends on your goals. If you're focused on skills at home, on your property, and in your immediate neighborhood, you may like Day Training: At Home. If you'd prefer a balance of at-home skills and public skills, consider Day Training: At Home & On the Go. If public skills are your priority and you're happy with your dog's at-home manners, consider Day Training: On the Go.
Every package begins with a consultation
Value: $310Each package begins with a consultation at your home so we can discuss your priorities, and I can get to know your dog and understand where they're starting. This session is 60–90 minutes and includes a detailed follow-up email walking through my observations and assessment of your dog's needs, your training priorities, and the skills and behavior work I'll do.
How payment works
The $310 consultation is due up front. If you decide to commit to a day training package, 50% of the remaining balance is due before your first session and the final 50% after your third skills-transfer session.
Travel fees
Depending on where you're located and where we decide to work, travel fees may apply above the package price. Day Training packages include discounted travel fees. See the travel fee schedule →
Pet health insurance
If you have pet health insurance that covers behavior services provided by a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist (ACAAB/CAAB), you may be eligible for reimbursement of a portion of your costs. A veterinary referral may be required.
Complete the intake form and mention you're interested in day training. I'll help you choose the package that best fits your goals.
